Registration of Interest only - 2.5 hour training session with Te Whatu Ora Vascular Specialist Nurses
Please register your interest to attend an evening education session with the Vascular Specialist Nurses at Te Whatu Ora Tai Tokerau. This is NOT the course date/time, that is still to be arranged, 11 February is the close off of interest date. Once the course details have been finalised, people who have registered their interest will be advised, and will be able to register for the session.
Description
Date and venue to be confirmed, time 5:30 – 8pm. If there are nurses interested, potential numbers and which of the subjects they would be most interested in learning about from the below?
- Vascular lower limb assessment – including ABPI
- Leg ulcer assessment – venous versus arterial
- Compression therapy – when to use, how to choose garments, how to prescribe
- Referring for leg/foot conditions, which service, with what information
- Managing venous eczema
- Lower leg skin tears
