CPR for GPs

ACLS Training endorsed by the RNZCGP for General Practitioners.

Description

This multi-level Face-to-Face Learning session is a fully in-person session for Registrars at the point of Fellowship, Registrars in GPEP or RHMTP, Fellows of the College & Dental Professionals to gain certification in CPR. It is endorsed by the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and successful completion entitles participants to 20 CPD credits.

The session is led by a PRS Instructor and is 6 hours of learning in a face-to-face format. Lunch and morning tea will be provided.

Course Contents:

  • Adult collapse management plan and AED
  • Paediatric collapse management plan
  • Manual Defibrillator
  • Team Scenario Practice
  • Management of Anaphylaxis
  • Airway Management (Adjuncts, Oxygen, Suction)
  • Resuscitation Drugs
  • Interosseous Access
  • Management of Choking
  • Knowledge and Skill Assessment

If we have not met the minimum required registrants two weeks from the course date we reserve the right to cancel the session and refund your payment.


Certificates are sent directly from Professional Resuscitation Services to your registration email. They will be issued only after payment has been processed.
