Childhood Asthma

Katie Faaiuaso from Asthma NZ delves into the world of asthma in children.

This session is presented by Katie Faaiuaso in conjunction with Mobile Health. Registration information will be shared between Mahitahi Hauora PHE and the Mobile Health Group. 

Katie completed her nursing degree at Unitec and spent several years working in a private hospital before starting as the nurse manager and respiratory educator at Asthma NZ in October 2020.

It is rewarding for her to be able to work alongside a diverse range of individuals and groups in the community to improve asthma health outcomes. She’s passionate about working collaboratively to empower people to make changes in their health behaviours that will have an impact for generations to come.
