Presented by podiatrists Katie Boue and Jennifer Woulfe.
Katie Boue
Katie is a UK-trained podiatrist with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry, originally practising across the south of England, including London, Bristol and Somerset, with a strong focus on diabetic foot care.
In 2023, she and her family relocated to Whangārei, New Zealand, where she now works as Clinical Lead of the High Risk Foot Team for Northland. Katie provides holistic, patient- and whānau-centred care and collaborates closely with vascular and plastics teams in Auckland to deliver integrated specialist services. She is passionate about clinical excellence, service development, and upskilling health professionals to enable seamless, collaborative care.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys hiking, body boarding with her children, exploring new corners of New Zealand, and (more recently thanks to Jenny) taking on the challenge of hockey.
Jenny Woulfe
With a Bachelor of Podiatry (Hons) and practicing since 2014, Jenny has worked across Australia and throughout New Zealand before settling in Whangārei in 2017. She has owned and operated a sports podiatry clinic and provided care to multiple rest homes, and is currently proud to be part of the High Risk Foot team at Te Whatu Ora.
She has a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions, particularly within the diabetic foot, and is passionate about delivering proactive, patient-centred care that keeps people moving safely and confidently.
When she is not in scrubs, you’ll find her on the hockey field (or coaching from the sidelines), at the gym, or at the park with my one-year-old daughter and our two cheeky staffies.
