Craig Bidois

FearFree is a business established in Auckland, New Zealand that specialises in providing consulting services to local, regional and international client entities in Personal Security and Risk Assessments. Our regional experience to date falls largely into five sectors; critical incident awareness consultancy and training, workplace violence management, international travel security training, staff security training and corporate risk mitigation assessments.
We have a proven track record of providing a variety of security consultancy services and training to government and local government entities throughout New Zealand, Pacific and Middle Eastern countries. We are also members of the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management (NZISM)
FearFree is the only company to civilianise United Nations methods for dealing with emergencies in the workplace. This unique concept allows FearFree to provide second-to-none training and consultancy services for Managers and Staff on how to handle emergencies and cope with security and safety issues.

Managing Director:
Craig brings over 32 years’ experience to FearFree, including an extensive background in the Middle East and Africa as an international security officer of the United Nations.
One of the very few New Zealanders to be awarded the Iraq Reconstruction Medal by the British Government, Craig is a graduate of the United Nations Staff College in Turin, Italy. He is one of a small number of international trainers to be formally certified to deliver at executive level the United Nations security and safety course and uses these skills to train and develop instructors of many organisations.

David Feng

Dr David Feng is a founding member and the Medical Director of Cannadoc. He is based in Wellington.

A graduate of the University of Otago, New Zealand (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) he completed his specialist GP training in Melbourne, and became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016.

He has a special interest in medicinal cannabis and is passionate about educating patients and medical practitioners in cannabinoid therapies.

David enjoys taking a holistic approach to all aspects of general practice, with special interests in mental health, travel medicine, sexual health and musculoskeletal medicine.

Deb Higgins

The family violence intervention screening programme is led by Coordinator Debs Higgins who is supported by a team of ten Champions and a Clinical Support Nurse.

Debs Higgins is a nurse of 25 year’s experience she is a farmer’s wife, mother of three, practice nurse and family violence programme Coordinator at the Hastings Health Centre. Most of her nursing has been in Tairawhiti (Gisborne, East Coast) where she was born and raised.

She has worked in many roles including various ward nursing positions, sole charge rural health nursing, emergency nursing, district nursing and clinical management. Debs and her family have been in Hawkes Bay for five years.

 

Diana Rands

Training facilitator

Diana is an experienced training facilitator with an extensive background in the alcohol and other drug (AOD) sector.

Diana is an engaging presenter of MH101 and other Blueprint workshops. She believes in the importance of laughter and fun to enhance learning, which she ensures are an integral part of the workshops she delivers.

"I feel very fortunate to be working for Blueprint as both the philosophy and kaupapa of the Blueprint workshops align with my own beliefs. I am passionate about the role of training to support the destigmitisation of diverse communities and the training workshops I deliver for Blueprint are excellent examples of this."

Edward Timings

Renowned for his clinical reasoning and 23 years experience in Chiropractic, Dr Edward Timings works with clients to develop an appreciation of the wider issues of health. A dynamic presenter, Ed creates an atmosphere of learning and understanding the balance needed to achieve full and healthy lives.

A disc jockey for seven years and university tutor, Ed has spent two years in cutting-edge diabetic research, and is also a Director of Catalyst, a company that combines the best practice of both business improvement and employee health strategies.

Edward has worked as a chiropractor in the United Kingdom, New Zealand and the United States, where he acquired his internationally acclaimed postural analysis programme and regularly appears on National radio and television.

Ed's clients range from babies to the elderly and include international athletes such as triathlete Cameron Brown, Team New Zealand, various All Blacks, Black Caps and Tall Blacks. His corporate clients have included Air New Zealand, First Mobile, Intervet, Sovereign Assurance and many more

Emil Schmidt

Emil has an extensive background in wound care, general and vascular surgery, and intensive care.

He is currently Wound Care Specialist for the ODHB where he is responsible for the selection and evaluation of wound products and technology.

He is an executive member and treasurer of the NZ Wound Care Society

Erin Tahauri

Gary Fentiman

Gary is a gynaecolgoist who has a long history of colposcopy in NZ. He was the independent colposcopist fort the Cartwright inquiry, chaired the original standards committee for the NCSP, and was the chair and co-author of the revised cervical screening guidelines.

Gigi Lim

Gigi is a Registered Comprehensive Nurse with clinical experience in obstetrics, paediatrics, neonatal intensive care, medical and community nursing.

Her completion of a Graduate Diploma in Science (Pharmacology) awards her the title of Nurse-Pharmacologist.

She teaches in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. She coordinates three prescribing papers both online and oncampus (NURSING 706, NURSING 722 AND NURSING 721). Gigi is also an active member of the Centre for Asian Health research, The Centre for Evidence Based Nursing and the Australasian Association for the Study of Obesity.

She is a Fellow of the College of Nurses.
